I actually would have typed that into my comment too, but i have no knowledge of how much slower a wind powered boat would travel upwind or how dependent performance would be on wind. I totally understand the need for mechanically powered transportation instead of using wind. My comment is mainly targeted at the misleading comparison.

Isn’t this massively misleading? Comparing the fuel consumption to a chase boat that is not a hydrofoil, and blaming the efficiency on the fact that it is an EV?

I can still have an opinion on it though. I am not against ads. I had just opted out of targeted ads. With the Pay or OK though they forced me to have to accept targeted ads.

Even if i paid the crazy amount they were asking (in my case the equivalent of 3 Netflix subs) they could still track me and suggest content , even from commercial accounts. So i opted out of META instead

It has taken almost a year to figure this out when it already was blatantly obvious when they implemented it. With that price tag, it was more blackmail

Oh! In this case, Office and any other software they have to use, is free while you study. I dont see an issue in requiring students to have computer’s that can run the software that the school pays for.

I have to answer based on what I hear and not that may be the case. I believe that this depends on the education. Some require one to buy books, but there is a thriving marked for second hand books. I would not be surprised though if many also are available for free downloads, but I can’t be sure

The schools recommend windows or mac computers but not browser based computers like Chromebooks, basically because the software that they use for the education can’t be installed.

Some schools do and others dont. It depends on what municipality they are and how they are budgeted. That said, all students get paid 6.820 kr. (€914/$916) a month while they study by the state and are offered very affordable loans. Also the actual education is free so getting a PC is often no more of a problem than buying books
