What a ridiculous take, tax payers ABSOLUTELY DID PAY FOR IT! WTF?

I’m done with Nintendo.
Google sure does love killing things people love.
No it isn’t: I don’t use SnapChat!
Ironic…
Let’s DuckDuckGOOOOOOO!
It sure fucking deserves it. All of these shitty megacorps need to be split up from big tech to ISPs to pharma/healthcare giants that profit off of human suffering.
Firefox is open source and Opera is still based on Chromium (the engine for Chrome, same as Edge and a number of other browsers).
For practical use, Firefox seems plenty fast on my devices including mobile.
I recommend switching to another browser like Firefox or Librewolf.
“WhY aRe PeOpLe bLoCkInG aDs!?”
I’d read some claims that posts appeared to be deleted but then later came back. Could’ve even been some sort of caching shenanigans with their local browser though I guess.
I think autocorrect might’ve gotten you: You posted “quality” twice in a contradictory way.
It seemed to happen to some people but I wouldn’t be surprised it it was just some sort of coincidental database fuck-up
Yeah, as soon as the API thing happened I switched to Lemmy for mobile browsing and like it more than Reddit (Connect is pretty good, but even the mobile browser site is solid).
The more they squeeze, the more popular alternatives like Lemmy, Kbin/Mbin, Tildes, etc. will become.
Shit-fueled ouroboros
interdasting
Weird, most of the results I get from Google’s search are from Quora (and they fucking suck). Google as a search engine has been going downhill for a while now. Reddit has becomes an increasingly spammy shithole full of corporate and political astroturfing too.
The problem with that is, lemmy.world is only one of many different instances. Too bad there isn’t a way to add a modifier that searches the entire fediverse.
Punish regular users while completely failing to actually stop piracy, classic.
