And their solution instead of actually fixing the problem is throwing money and computing power at it in the hope that brute force will make it “better.” When in reality it hasn’t even changed that much in the past year besides more eloquently saying complete bullshit. Call it a conspiracy, but I think with nobody ever telling the truth on the internet, LLM’s have only taught themselves to bullshit everyone into believing them.
I’d be on board if it was actually useful and accurate. But it has proven time and time again to be hot garbage 99% of the time as they shove it down everyone’s throat. They keep talking about it being a new age of AI and how it’s going to change the world but it’s only made the internet a worse place and changed nothing or made things worse.
It’s more about accessibility. It’s not like they make the games anymore and the emulators they have on the Switch are lackluster. You could buy shit on eBay but if it’s a super niche game it’d probably cost a lot of money. Money that doesn’t go back to Nintendo. It’s not like they’re going to lose money for someone playing a super rare game on an emulator.
So… Almost every single video pre switch besides speed running videos? Where the fuck else are they supposed to play them? By the time “let’s plays” we’re popular on YouTube we were in the time of the Wii or even passed it. And even if they didn’t emulate, they’d have to have bought the console off eBay where Nintendo makes zero money from the discontinued consoles. This is literally just control for the sake of control and it’s why I hate Nintendo.

Hey, I just got a phone call from my brother because he couldn’t call anyone. I have T-Mobile and he has Verizon. Funnily enough our call worked just fine but he couldn’t call his girlfriend. Apparently he has no problems calling people that are using Android but can’t call anyone using an iPhone.

I’m glad they mentioned the release dates in the article because for a second there I was about to look up when “28 Weeks Later” came out to see if this mad lad waited 28 years to make the next movie. It came out in 2007 so it’s been 17 years. For some reason I felt like it was so much older than I remember, but it would have come out when I was a toddler if they did release it 28 years ago.
… Anyway. I’m stoked to see the movie.
If I remembered I’d have an answer. All I know is that I was specifically looking to export a csv and couldn’t find it. It was a new computer and they were like “just use 365” instead of installing Microsoft Office like every other computer. I ended up just installing LibreOffice until they got mad at me and installed Microsoft Office.
Microsoft 365 is fucking garbage. I tried using it one time on my work computer and couldn’t even export an Excel sheet into any other format besides a PDF and an Excel file. The only two things I never need to export an Excel sheet as. I couldn’t even export it as a god damn text file. And the fact that I need an Internet connection makes it so much more finicky. I guess on the plus side when the Internet is down I don’t have to do my job until it comes back.
I’m starting to feel like this whole AI craze that big tech companies are forcing onto others is just a dick measuring contest that none of them have the balls to back out of even though they all know it’s a stalemate.
