Wasn’t Firefox starting to implement some bullshit too?

Just request Libre Office Calc to be able to import Excel shortcuts.
Been using it just fine on my Desktop. Blender 3D and Krita are equally as good, and in some cases better, than the subscription based programs. Libre Office has the same functionality as MS Word, but supports more formats. Every other daily use program, such as Firefox or VLC runs just as fine on Linux as it does anywhere else. I’ve had virtually no issues running games from my Steam library, even ones that aren’t officially supported.
Eeeeewww. Why would I want to fuck something so small and limp?
I shit you not, whenever the issues of Microsoft are brought up in my friend group, there is one guy who pops up and defends Microsoft with “Well it’s not a problem for me. I do t see the big deal at all! It’s only a few ads.”
You wouldn’t download a Car.
Yes. Yes I would.
I haven’t bought it myself yet. When Palworld was all the hype on my discord server I noticed it still was incredibly jank. Clipping, pathing, physics, AI, those sorts of things.
If the issues get polished I’ll probably buy it. But the devs seem to be doing quite well so far.
This was my reaction too when I read the title, complete with curiosity about what they mean with “forever”.
This whole “dead game” rhetoric seems to stem from the sane idea present in capitalism that something must be constantly growing.
People have bought Palworld, and they’ve made their money back and then some. And despite this not being a “live service” type game, it’s still receiving updates and still has active players.
My Netflix is called Jellyfin With Suspiciously Acquired Media From Dubious Corners of the Internet.
Quite the character you are, aren’t you?
My whole personality? The fuck you smoking to be so hateful towards dark mode? We’re literally here talking about it. You decided to join in with a weird ass take.
It’s easier on my eyes. Which is anecdotal, but a large enough portion of the population use dark modes for the same reason. That is not coincidence, and it’s not something I’d write off as merely being hype.
There’s nothing new about dark mode either. Wikipedia is just slow in the uptake. Besides Wikipedia, dark modes have existed for more than a decade.
Hmm… Under normal circumstances, sure. But this is an odd thing to say in a conversation specifically about the subject.
Having read lots of books, I tend to prefer printed text a lot. Yet I still use dark mode as much as possible; it’s the glare. It’s irritating to read something on a white, glaring surface. Paper doesn’t have that.
I’ll read Wikipedia on e-ink, but on LCD I’ll use dark mode.
Yeah, let’s be clear here, in NuTrek. That’s not exactly a mark of quality.
Would “crypto-twat” be more acceptable?
A lot of hacker groups originated on 4chan.
But wouldn’t that be only necessary if it needed to render real-time graphics at such a scale? If I’m correct, all its doing is playing back videos.
Finding the right mastodon instance was incredibly annoying. I use it, but barely. Most of the artists I follow are on Bluesky, anyway, which is a lot easier to use.
