Switzerland educated Kim Jong Un threaten to bomb …
Pretty sure it wasn’t Switzerland’s fault. Lol. Really is a stretch of a title

Not sure what qualities a car has to make it macho, but I saw a Fiskar Ocean the other day on the road in matte forrest green, and thought it was pretty sexy. I don’t know their pitfalls yet, but it was enough to make me look them up. Not a fan of the giant screen in the middle, but maybe it would grow on me.
Edit: and they might be declaring bankruptcy and selling off their assets… Welp that sucks
To be honest it is more likely to get porn banned in the U.S. and we’ll watch rapes/sexual assaults/abductions/murders of the people involved go up.
Work is a lot rarer to find than people make it out to be.
Yeah it was annoying, NewPipe I actually have installed, I just did it from the APK from GitHub I assume.
Making F-Droid an app in the Play Store would just open it to the same environment eventually though wouldn’t it? Pressures to have ads to make money by sponsoring apps that have those things we don’t like, which ultimately drive us back to installing via APK. It is a win for freedom of choice, that’s true… But in the end I wonder if people would actually move from their currently working platforms. I could see the Play store just scalping apps they downloaded most often and adding them and taking a hit on their portion of profit on those apps to ensure the 99% of Android users still stay on their platform.
I mentioned something like this elsewhere, the Democrat president will make announcements to the people over the next 48 hours regarding their health and safety using a platform he knows the majority of his voters do not support the owner of. Not because the platform is better than others, but because it will reach a larger user base.
Yeah I’m sure it was a bug, but it stands to reason if someone doesn’t have the time to fudge around with getting the F-Droid app to work on their device, they would just download the APK for the app they actually want installed that they are going through F-Droid to download I would think. Which would install the same way that F-Droid does now.
My guess is the best argument would come from the profit returns for a developer are higher as they don’t have to pay a percentage to the Play store. That said, unless the app has massive adaption, costs would be low to host the download of the APK from their website.
I guess we will see in 5 years if there is enough apps that will choose to move to another app store to make users even figure out it matters. With many users right now they exist on environments that attach to their Gmail addresses that track which apps were on previous devices and install which apps they had on their new device in an easy manner. I myself have moved away from using my Gmail accounts and tried to slowly exit that sphere of influence some, but the mass public doesn’t have motivations to do so. Over 50% of the public agrees Musk is not a good person, yet we watch people post shit on Twitter daily, change doesn’t come easy.
What OS do you use? I haven’t run anything different in a long while. The OS on my Galaxy S4 I think was my last OS I replaced
I installed it, it would kick off updates for hours every day for 3 days straight, and I uninstalled it. What is so good about it for you? I get not getting the apps through advertised crap, but I really dont think this will effect most users at all.
So you think they were in life threatenng danger?
Polite society my ass. I’ve owned guns for over 15 years and never has a gun de-escalated a situation. People who carry in public are way more likely to kill someone and to get themselves killed. Guns cause aggressiveness far more often.
The woman was never in danger, if she pulled a gun, her, the harrassers, and all other bystanders would have been in danger.
The doors aren’t going to open from the outside, and authorities would be alerted immediately. Breaking the glass on a car window or holding people up at gun point… Yeah. Easier in the parking lot of any gas station, grocery store, neighborhood, Walmart, Mall, Jewelry store, movie theater. Wherever really. The people can get out of the car in an emergency just like any other car. Running someone down with a car is not the answer to many situations.
I don’t think anyone in the U.S. where I am from has a memory that lasts beyond the last 10 political lies anymore. That’s why we are having these issues.
I changed mine. Also it’s a widget, you can just take it off your phone screen and add the Firefox one of you want, or whichever you please.
That seems likely. The question comes down to where the line should be drawn. Allow the apps the be installed and then when the data is eventually reported/found by the app owners to have them file law suits against those who are “stealing” from them, or to not allow the cracked application to be loaded in the first place, which is easily disguised as a security protocol because if an app has code in it that is not originally supposed to be there, it is very possibly a form of malware, which then can hurt the users in the long run or short run if it actually acts malicious and starts doing shit like old school viruses did on PC.
People want to say we own the device so we should be able to do whatever we want, but blatantly allowing people to install cracked apps with keyloggers onto their phones unintentionally will get them sued, and ultimately hurt how many people stay using their products.
Imagine every user and password with the site listed was suddenly just accessible by everyone. It would be a hellscape of credit card companies trying to stop accounts because you order 18 pizzas off the dominos app in Georgia, and another 13 sandwiches in the burger king app at the same time in Jersey.
We need to have the freedom to load apps we trust, but if you look at the standard user base, that’s who they have to make the phones for.
Could do something like make the users agree to terms by taking the phone into developer mode that makes them non responsible somehow? Might not hold up in court when they get sued though. “All the photos I took on my phone got shared online”
I read it as the PS5, so launching November 2020 it should have come with a 4tb drive. The wording likely confused me
That’s the one drag for me about the PS5 contrllers, the battery life before recharging. The PS3 controller did great, but the PS5 ones have so many features built in they die to quick for my liking.
I haven’t built a new computer in awhile, but 4tb ssd would have costed more than the console when it launched would it have not? Unless you are saying they should have shipped with a hybrid SSD/HDD setup. Not sure if read/write speeds would hold up to the frame rates needed for their games now.
I’m still mad we are giving them typewriters instead of keyboards. Think of the arthritis! Ergonomics please!
