I prefer 1080p 60hz laptop displays. Much lighter on the battery. I plug it into an external 120hz HDR 4k display when I need the crispiness or extra workflow.
I don’t have a decibel reading for you but it sounds about the same as my MacBook Air did during load.
Unfortunately I had to for GeForceNow which is where I do all my gaming. Browser only supports 1080p/60. I need my 1440p or 4k 120hz. I can’t do 60hz anymore.
The minute Nvidia ever does a Linux port that Windows install is GONE.
