This is the peak, though. They require new data to get better but most of the available new data is adulterated with AI slop. Once they start eating themselves it’s over.

AI is just regurgitating old stack overflow. It’s not going to get better.
That’s okay, because there is a law about interfering with someone else’s contracted agreement.
A lot of companies were working with honey to have them make sure people didn’t get the best offer. So they knew exactly what was going on.
That’s kind of like a looter invoking the ‘finders keepers’ defense. Last click isn’t a law.

It’s odd you seem to have more faith in China than in the US. Personally, while my trust in my country is low, it is infinitely higher than my trust in China.
There’s no national security basis to ban social media from the US or a friendly country. It would be protected by the first amendment otherwise. They have actual evidence that China was using TikTok as electronic warfare, which is the only reason they can ban it.
Not true. That’s why the banning has a clause allowing for the sale of the US portion to a US (or other allied) company.
The only reason this is bannable is that it is owned by china essentially; based on national security grounds. As long as the fediverse is never sold to an enemy nation, there’s nothing to worry about.
The turbo button actually slowed your PC down to be able to play old DOS games.
We’re already seeing signs of incestuous data input causing damage. The more that AI takes over, the less capable it will be.
