I lost my Switch in a fire unfortunately, but thank you for the heads up. Now I’ve gotta figure out what emulator made it the farthest before shutting down
I quit using shops years ago because they all ended up being paywalled. It’s been shown time and time again that ‘unrelated donations’ is not a loop hole. Most shops weren’t even unrelated. You had to donate an undumped game or eshop credit towards one. I understand obtaining the games in the first place isn’t free, but taking money for anything Nintendo related is a bad move, and will be seen as selling their copyrighted material in a court of law
I’m also not ashamed to say, I pirate to get free shit. You start charging, I’ll put in more effort to get it for free. There are ways to run your own shop, which I did for a while, but I got tired of messing with the network and just used USB install over DBI for the most part
Alright, I don’t have anything capable of HDR so that is no worries. No (intrusive) anticheat, no game pass. I’m sure a few random games have issues. Doesn’t sound like it should be a big deal though. Thank you
That’s what I was thinking but I just wanted to make sure. I really appreciate all the help
Thanks! I didn’t even think to look for a compatibility list. I’m quick to check them for emulators, but it didn’t even cross my mind
Thanks for the help. I’m not fond of invasive a anticheat as it is, played like 10 minutes of Fortnite when it was a survival game, and I’m sure I can use the high seas to get around game pass. I’ll have to check a couple of specific games, but I think I might be pretty good to go
This may be a silly question, but as far as online games that work, it shouldn’t matter if my friends are on Windows, right?
I’m mentally preparing for the switch. Would you mind naming some of the games keeping you on Windows?
I found one that was still on and running this past week. I doubt it actually worked, but there was nothing indicating that it didn’t
